A németes zongorista barátnőm megkért, hogy a házi koncertjén én készítsem a süteményt, méghozzá a kedvencünket, a mákos csodát, ami itt Japánban teljesen ismeretlen. Ő Bécsben tanult zenét 7 évig, ezért örömmel terjeszti az európai kultúrát a zenén keresztül. A nagy népszerűségre tekintettel két koncertet is tartott aznap fél kettőtől és négytől. A kb 45 vendég részére az első adag sütit otthon készítettem, a másodikat nála segítséggel. A mákos sütihez osztrák Julius Meinl kávét szervíroztunk, mindegyiknek nagy sikere volt. A végén az édesanyja készítette szusival zártuk a sikeres napot. Eszter is ügyesen kivette a részét a segítségből: üdvözölte a vendégeket, osztotta a programot, a két koncert között takarított.
My pianist friend asked me to make Mohnkuchen for her concert held at her house salon. She had studied in Vienna for 7 years so she is an enthusiastic embassador of European culture in Toyama. Along with the rare cakes the guest were served Austrian Julius Meinl coffee, what a treat! They loved everything. For the 45 people I made the first portion at home alone and for the second concert (there were two that day) we made it together with friends at her house. We wrapped up the day with some home made sushi by my friend's mom. Eszter did a great help greeting the arriving guests and handing out the program and cleaning the salon between the two concerts.
