Ma végre eljutottunk Eszterrel Toyama leghíresebb helyére: a Tateyama-n lévő hófalhoz, ami a tél végére 20 m körül is lehet, idén jelenleg 15 m volt a legmagasabb helyen. Talán még ennél is különlegesebb élmény volt, hogy találkoztunk egy pár raicho madárral, ami a Tateyama, Toyama szimbóluma, nemzeti kincs, védett madár stb. Egyáltalán nem voltak félősek, úgy hogy egész közelről meg tudtuk őket szemlélni. Eszter teljesen oda volt, vennünk kellett plüss raicho-t is. Télen fehér a tolluk, nyáron barnás, ilyenkor pedig vegyes, mindig teljesen eltűnnek a környezetükben, néhány képen meglátjátok nehéz észrevenni. Szintén fent a hegyen van szerintem a legjobb ramen leves, amit valaha Japánban ettem, azt is nagyon vártam, szuper nap volt! A tömeget leszámítva, főleg a környező trópusi országokból érkező külföldiek, akik most láttak életükben először havat, vicces volt látni..
Today we finally made it to the main sight of Toyama, the famous snow wall that might even reach or go over 20 meter, this time it was still impressive with its 15 meters at its highest point. But even more special was our encounter with the thunderbird or rock ptarmigan, we saw a cute couple and to our amazement they were not shy at all so we could enjoy watching t hem for a very long time. They change the color of their feathers according to the season. We also enjoyed a snow maze, and the best ramen in Japan in my opinion that is sold up there. It was way too crowded but after all it was pretty funny to see the joy of those people coming from no snow places like Taiwan, Vietnam or Philippines, they obviously saw snow for the first time. That was a great day!
